FS Epoxy Coating

FS Epoxy Coating is a very hard wearing solvent free epoxy resin floor paint suitable for medium and heavy use areas

Two pack, solvent free epoxy paint, very low odour

Easy to mix and apply

Coverage for 5kg unit: 20 - 25 square metres per coat (subject to density and smoothness of substrate)

Uses: All light to heavy use areas in engineering workshops, distribution warehouses, food and drink factories, pharmaceutical facilities, auto workshops, showrooms, etc. All concrete floors, sand/cement screeds and floors previously painted with epoxy paints.

Two coats generally recommended, unless applying over existing epoxy coatings

FS Epoxy Coating

Excellent resistance to oils, coolants, cleaning fluids and mild chemicals

Aggregate can be included for slip deterrent finish or see FS Epoxy Coating Antislip

Apply to concrete, existing well bonded epoxy paints and screeds

Priming: For many uses no primer is necessary as the product is self priming, however FS Epoxy Primer or FS Epoxy Sealer can be applied as a first coat. For very new concrete prime with 1-2 coats of FS Epoxy DPM/Primer. Powerfloat slabs can generally be treated as for other concrete finishes, however if minimal prep is done we suggest using Rust-Oleum 3333 Super Adhesion Primer (NB: if the slab is sealed using Proseal then this must be mechanically removed prior to coating.) Sand cement screeds should always be primed first with FS Epoxy Primer, and wood with FS Epoxy Sealer.

Can use FS Epoxy Sealer as first coat if required.
